John M. Karibo, M. D.

Dr. John Karibo, graduated from the University of Louisville with a B.A. degree in 1958, followed by a medical degree in 1963. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Louisville and a fellowship in Allergy in Immunology at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Karibo began private practice in Allergy and Immunology in 1969. Dr. Karibo is board certified in Pediatrics as well as Allergy and Immunology. He is active in local, state, and national medical associations, as well as the American Academy of Allergy and the American College of Allergy. He is a past president of the Kentucky Society of Allergy and Immunology, and has served on numerous medical as well as service organization committees. Dr. Karibo has been a member of the Louisville Rotary Society for many years. He has served as Assistant Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics and the University of Louisville School of Medicine as well as Director and Assistant Professor of the Pediatric Allergy Section at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Karibo has also been Associate Clinic Professor and Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University Of Louisville. Dr. Karibo served as director of the University of Louisville Allergy Training Program and was actively involved in the teaching of Medical Residents and Fellows in the specialty of Allergy. He is now Emeritus Clinical Professor at U of L and was endowed a chair at U of L in Clinical Allergy and Immunology in 2002, with an annual lecture series in his name to commemorate this honor. He has been active in the Kentucky Air National Guard, serving as Jet Instrument Instructor, Flight Commander, and Hospital Commander, followed by Assistant Adjutant General for Air from 1980-1983. Dr. Karibo retired from the Air Guard with a rank of Brigadier General in 1983. Dr. Karibo and his wife, Norma, are the parents of three daughters and have twelve grandchildren.

Dwight E. Lindsay, M.D.

Dr. Dwight Lindsay is board certified in Allergy and Immunology and specializes in urticaria, sinus problems, as well as the treatment of asthma and other allergic disease. Dr. Lindsay received his B.S. Degree from Georgetown College and his Medical Degree from the University of Louisville. He completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Lindsay is a past president of the Greater Louisville Allergy Society and is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Medical Association, the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Lindsay and his wife Marty have four daughters and two grandchildren.

Thomas A. Glass, M.D.

Dr. Thomas Glass is a board certified Allergist and Immunologist who specializes in the treatment of all allergic diseases as well as sinusitis and immunodeficiency's. Dr. Glass is a graduate of Georgetown College and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville, he completed his residency in Pediatrics also at the University of Louisville. His specialty training in Allergy and Immunology was completed at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Glass is the past President of the Greater Louisville Allergy Society and is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Medical Association, the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Glass and his wife Mindy have three children, Molly, Mallory and Ryan.

Mark L. Corbett, M.D.

Dr. Mark Corbett graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering and Math in 1983. He received his medical degree from the University of Louisville and subsequently completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Alabama—Birmingham in 1987. After finishing a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Louisville in 1992, Dr. Corbett began private practice with Allergy Care. Dr. Corbett has served as president of the Kentucky Allergy Society as well as the Greater Louisville Allergy Society. He is also an active member of the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Medical Association, the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy and Immunology.

In 2005, Dr. Corbett was elected to a six-year term on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, which is the sole organization for board certification. Dr. Corbett is one of the few private practice allergists to achieve this honor. This appointment exemplifies the commitment to quality clinical and academic patient care for which the physicians of Allergy Care continually strive to achieve. Dr. Corbett and his wife Susan are the parents of three children.

Jennifer E. Gentner, M.D.

Dr. Gentner is a Louisville native, having graduated from Sacred Heart Academy as a National Merit Commended Student in 1994. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology Summa Cum Laude from Bellarmine University in 1998, followed by her Doctor of Medicine from the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Gentner completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Cincinnati in 2006, after which she moved to Missouri for her fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the St Louis University School of Medicine.

Dr. Gentner is a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and will sit for the American Board of Allergy and Immunology in October 2008.
